Hungary\’s property market is reacting to the changing buyer patterns of its young and growing middle-class. Demand for quality housing from this demographic, along with interest from overseas investors keen to buy while the sector is maturing, is making Hungarian property a sought after commodity. As part of its drive to promote Hungary as an investment destination for foreign buyers, it is working with international property companies to attract more overseas buyers.
Dedicated platform
Launched by PFI Media Ltd in 2004, The Overseas Property Professional (OPP) magazine is the only publication dedicated to those working in the international homes industry. Supported by a web site (www.opp.org.uk) and e-newsletter distributed to over 54,000 trade professionals worldwide, OPP addresses the issues that are important to anyone with an interest in selling products and services to international buyers in Europe, Russia, the Americas and the Middle East.
OPP also provides an industry platform for forming and promoting trade alliances. OPPLive 08 (www.opplive.org.uk) – its annual trade conference and exhibition – will provide a timely opportunity for the industry to network, learn about new business opportunities and find new partners.
OPPLive is proud to announce that has formed its own strategic alliance with MIT, which brings together numerous property professionals that work in the Hungarian domestic and international second homes industry.
Members include real estate brokers, developers, lawyers, architects, consultants and financial institutions and the trade association is working with its partners to develop a link between established Hungarian companies and investors globally.
Under the terms of this new alliance with OPPLive, the association will be marketing the event to its members through its numerous channels and activities. As part of this package to encourage attendance to the show, MIT will also highlight its partnership with OPPLive to any relevant media that operates in its sphere of influence.
In return, MIT members will be offered free tickets and dedicated exhibition space at OPPLive – which takes place on 25th and 26th November 2008 at ExCeL London (quote ticket code MITOPP). They will also benefit from tailored seminars and networking sessions as part of the OPPLive conference programme.
Santiago Herreros de Tejada, RGG\’s Business Development Director, added: “It is a great honour and offers great value for the Richmond Green Group (RGG) to have this agreement with MIT, one of Hungary\’s most respected organisations,” he said. “MIT unites many of the country\’s most influential businesses and individuals in the field of real estate so this agreement will reinforce the business opportunities for OPPLive\’s international visitors who are interested in establishing new sales networks in this market.
“The real estate market is globalizing, and countries are reaching out to the numerous different buyer markets available. This agreement will allow us to be in permanent contact with Hungarian property professionals most actively involved in the international real estate business. Thanks to this agreement, the OPP brand will become the key platform for any professional interested in doing business in the international property market.”
